The Journey

I’ve started over dozens of times. I’m sure I’ll start over at least a dozen more. Life evolves, dreams change, but my love of the ocean has always been constant. My mistake was not following that intuition from the very start of my life. And now my life is made all the better for it because I listen to that love every single day and follow it without question.

Years go by quick and we try our best to find balance between our inner passion and what’s expected of us. We go at it for some time but it doesn’t take long to realize how quickly we start seeking “empty stuff” to make life tolerable. Junk food, mindless tv… anything that takes the edge off. I’m guilty of it too. It takes great courage to sit with yourself to question your life choices, but when you do, right there and then, your true journey begins…

The mind does a very good job trying to prevent us from getting hurt. It weaves webs of hypotheses and theories to dodge pain from every direction. What is this person thinking of me? How would I react if they said this, or did that? How can I prepare for the worst case scenario?

At some point our sheer survival “fight or flight” instinct evolved into a well of irrational fear, which doesn’t quite protect us from predators anymore, yet still influences our psyches to a point where most new choices will be ruled out as “dangerous”, hence subconsciously keeping ourselves from moving on to reach our full potential. It’s important to find time among our busy lives to sit with ourselves and take a deeper look at where we are and how we could feel more connected with ourselves, our true passion and start making every day, even small choices that make life well worth living for.

That’s why I’m here. That’s why I dive. And I wish the same for you, with all of my being.

...But also tons of hugs and rewards

Life is busy, yet worth living a little...

At some point in your life you have to start asking yourself those important questions and begin planning some quality time for you to reconnect with nature, get out in the sun and have a little adventure! After all, wouldn’t it be nice to have some of your own, instead of following someone else’s on social media? I know, the same tools that seem to promise connectivity are also the reason we got used to remaining distant and experiencing life through screens. Nowadays everything seems manufactured to cause an impression on someone else, and precisely for that reason I decided to share the courage of wanting to experience real hugs and real adventures with real, unfiltered people who’d like to take life by the wheel and start making choices to jumpstart the innermost desire to create meaningful connections and make time to spice things up!
